Cherry Hill West, Eastern eliminated

South Jersey's final two teams in the boys' volleyball state tournament were eliminated in quarterfinal matches.
Cherry Hill West's season ended with a 2-0 loss to St. Joseph, Metuchen. St. Joseph won the games 25-23 and 25-16.
For West (21-8), Matt Parisi had 10 kills, Liam Howley six kills and six digs and Andrew Nop had 16 assists.
Eastern went three games before falling to Bridgewater-Raritan, 29-27, 24-26, 25-22.
Devin Zolnowski recorded 24 kills, 10 digs and seven blocks for Bridgewater-Raritan, which will play St. Joseph, Metuchen in the state semifinals Wednesday at South Brunswick High School.
