Accomplishments: Thach has been a very steady player for the Tornados throughout the season. He has averaged 15 assists for a team that qualified for the state tournament for the fourth straight season. His team was hovering right around the .500 mark just before the cutoff date and needed a win over Woodrow Wilson last Friday to qualify for the state tournament. Thach played a major role in the 2-0 victory as he had 10 assists and six kills.
Comments: "Lien hustles all the time and has such great hands," coach Rhonda Ritz said. "Every year he has shown marked improvement and this year has been our leader." Thach: "It has been a lot of fun this season. In my four years at Pennsauken Tech we have been in the state tournament every year. This year we seemed to get a little better with each match and a big part of that is our young guys stepped up real big lately."
