Accomplishments: Swimming at the South Jersey Coaches Invitational Division A meet, Thomas narrowly missed the meet record in winning the 200 free in 1:53.99, but returned later to win the 500 free in 4:59.16, snapping the mark of 5:03.41 set by Stephanie Schwab of Cherry Hill East in 1989.

Comments: "I didn't know what the 200 free record going in was," Thomas said. "I was just looking to swim as fast as I could, and I just missed it. I did know what the 500 record was. I knew I was going to be close to it and I was happy when I looked at the board and saw that I got it."
