Player of the Week - Meg Kendall, Pennsauken

Saturday, October 9, 2004

Grade: Senior

Position: Setter/Defensive specialist

Accomplishments: On Tuesday, Kendall had 14 service points and eight aces as Pennsauken broke into the win column with a 2-0 (25-7, 25-10) win at Seneca. Kendall is a four-year volleyball player and, along with senior teammates Porsch Rogers and Diana Pinzon, is one of the Indians' tri-captains.

Comments: "Meg is one of our most consistent servers and an excellent defender on the back line," Pennsauken coach Marty Ford said. "She played very well against Seneca." Said Kendall: "I started playing volleyball in middle school and have always enjoyed it. I love the sport."
