Slain victim's sister: Neulander is a `monster'

Courier-Post Staff
CAMDEN

Victim impact statement given Thursday by Margaret Miele, Carol Neulander's sister:

There are sisters and there are sisters. Carol and I, though very different, were very, very close. We loved each other unconditionally and pledged to be there for each other always. And she was always there for me - generous and warm-hearted - in times of confusion, sadness and joy.

I thought that I would always be able to love and help in her times of need, but in the end this was not to be.

Not to be, because the convicted, while pretending to be a caring and concerned family member, deliberately plotted and planned her brutal murder. Ultimately, he stood calmly outside while inside she lay all alone, fatally injured, dying.

He is truly a monster beyond human comprehension.

He should never ever live free again. Thank you.
