Q: OK. So. she was on the phone. Was she ... I think you told us that she was getting out of the car?
A: Yeah.
Q: Was she on the phone then?
A: Yes.
Q: OK, so as she's getting out of the car, she's on the phone, and Len approached her?
A: Yes.
Q: All right. And uh, Len says something to her?
A: Yeah.
Q: What does he say ... only if you know?
A: I don't know ...
Q: OK.
A: ... But I know what he came back he ...
Q: Well wait a minute. When he approaches her and he has some words, and do you see him approach her?
A: Yeah.
Q: Can you see from where you are?
A: Yeah.
Q: OK. Does he ... what does he do? Does he go into the house?
A: Yeah. He goes into the house.
Q: OK does Mrs. Neulander go in the house with him?
A: Yes.
Q: OK now how long is Lenny in the house?
A: About a couple of minutes I'd say.
Q: And uh, ...
A: He had to use the bathroom too. When he was in there he used the bathroom.
Q: He asked to use the bathroom?
A: Yeah.
Q: OK and did he use the bathroom?
A: Yeah.
Q: OK and then he came out?
A: Yeah.
Q: And then he came back to the car, right?
A: Yes.
Q: But he hadn't committed murder?
A: No.
Q: As the plan was laid out, you were supposed to murder her that night? The same plan was it? She's supposed to go in, get her in the house, hit her, and you were supposed to come in and hit her?
A: Yeah.
Q: OK. But he came out and uh, what did he say?
A: He said no deal.
Q: OK why?
A: Cause she I don't know. I don't exactly know why. I don't remember exactly why.
Q: He just didn't ... just didn't feel right or what?
A: Yeah, yeah he didn't feel right I guess.
Q: OK did he tell you why he didn't? He had to give you some explanation. If you recall.
A: I don't recall.
Q: OK but all you know is he just told you let's go?
A: Yeah.
Q: He couldn't do it?
A: Yeah.
Q: Did he have a weapon that night?
A: No I don't think so.
Q: He didn't have a weapon that night?
A: I'm not sure, I'm not sure. I think he only had a pipe.
Q: He might have had a pipe the first night?
A: Yeah.
Q: How about you?
A: I think I had a pipe with me too.
Q: OK. So you both had pipes that night?
A: Yeah.
Q: The first night?
A: Yeah.
Q: But uh Lenny came out of the house and said let's go. It didn't feel right or whatever?
A: Yeah.
Q: And uh, you left. Where did you go?
A: I think we went back home. I'm not sure.
Q: OK. Now, what, what night was that?
A: A Tuesday.
Q: It was a Tuesday? OK. Now, what did Lenny say, if anything, that the Rabbi said about the fact? Cause the Rabbi had to know you were going that night, correct?
A: Yes.
Q: What did Lenny say that the Rabbi said as far as ...
A: The Rabbi said why isn't the job done yet? Why isn't the job done yet? That's what he said to Lenny. That's what Lenny told me: And we have to do the job. We have to do the job next week.
Q: OK and uh, I think you said that he said he was going to ask for his money back?
A: Yes he was going to ask for his money back.
