Q: And Len Jenoff asked you if you wanted to make some extra money by hurting somebody?
A: Yes.
Q: What ... who ... who, what extra money, how much extra money, and who were you supposed to hurt, and tell me what he told you the plan was?
A: It was planning on hurting Mrs. Neulander. Uh, it was like seventy-five hundred dollars. Uh ...
Q: Total or seventy-five hundred apiece?
A: Seventy-five hundred apiece. And uh I hurt Mrs. Neulander for it.
Q: All right so he asked you if you would hurt somebody for seventy-
five hundred for you each to make seventy-five hundred dollars?
A: Yeah.
Q: You didn't know it was Mrs. Neulander? Not at first. Uh, who did he tell you ... who did he tell you was going to pay for this and who, and who ...
A: He said a vendor machine guy.
Q: A vendor machine guy?
A: Yes.
Q: What about this vendor machine guy?
A: He just said that he needs his wife killed.
Q: OK and why did he need his wife killed ... this vendor machine guy?
A: I had no idea, I never asked him any questions about it.
Q: OK. And Len never told you why this guy wanted his wife killed?
A: No.
Q: OK. He did tell you though you could make seventy-five hundred dollars to participate?
A: Yes.
Q: OK. And how long before the actual murder did this take place?
A: Uh about a month.
Q: About one month?
A: Yeah.
Q: OK and when were you supposed to do this murder?
A: Uh in a couple of weeks.
Q: OK. Now, did Len Jenoff ever tell you who this vendor was or did this vendor turn out to be somebody other than the vendor?
A: Yes.
Q: Who did it turn out to be?
A: Mr. Neulander.
Q: Mr. Neulander?
A: Yeah.
Q: Where did you meet Mr. Neulander at?
A: I met him at his AA meeting.
Q: And where was that at?
A: At the synagogue where he worked at.
Q: Mr. Neulander worked at the synagogue?
A: Yes.
Q: What did he do at the synagogue?
A: I have no idea.
Q: Uh did Len ever tell you he was a Rabbi?
A: Yeah a Rabbi yeah. He told me he was a Rabbi.
Q: OK and you met him at a AA meeting?
A: Yes.
Q: Sometime before the murder?
A: Yes...
Q: How long before the murder?
A: Approximately two, three months.
Q: Two or three months before the murder?
A: Yeah.
Q: OK so, it's two or three months before the murder when you meet that Rabbi Neulander at the synagogue?
A: Yes.
Q: It's a couple months after you met him that Fred first approached. I mean that Len Jenoff first approaches you about this vending machine guy ...
A: Yes.
Q: ... who wants his wife killed?
A: Yes.
Q: All right, when do you find out that this vending machine guy isn't actually a vending machine guy?
A: Like a day before, two days before the murder.
Q: A day or two before the murder?
A: Yeah.
Q: How did you learn that?
A: Cause he came out and told me.
Q: Who told you?
A: Uh, Len Jenoff.
Q: What did he say?
A: He said it's the Rabbi. It's the Rabbi down the synagogue.
Q: It's the Rabbi at the synagogue what?
A: Mr. Neulander.
Q: That what did the Rabbi at the synagogue, Mr. Neulander ...?
A: Wanted his wife killed.
