Q: This is the statement of Paul Michael Daniels. A 26-six-year-old white male. I'm Senior Investigator Marty Devlin of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Along with uh Mr. Daniels is uh Sergeant Mike Kantner also of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Presently we are in the office of the Prosecutor. It is approximately 5:22 P.M. on May 1, 2000. Michael, before I ask you any questions, I'd like to get some biographical information from you. Would you please state your full name, and spell your last name?
A: Paul Michael Daniels, D-A-N-I-E-L-S.
Q: And uh how old you?
A: Twenty-six.
Q: OK, before we go any further Paul, uh do you recall you were in here earlier today, and we had taken a statement from you, myself, and Sergeant Kantner, correct?
A: Yes.
Q: And uh, before spoke with you this morning, we warned you of your Constitutional rights, correct?
A: Yes.
Q: And then before we taped your statement, we also warned you of your Constitutional rights, correct?
A: Yes.
Q: OK. Well in the abundance of caution, I'm going to warn you of your rights again, OK? And uh this will be the same type of sheet, a different sheet, before I ask you any questions, it is my duty to advise you, you have a right to remain silent. Do you understand that?
A: Yes.
Q: OK. you're placing uh the word yes after the answer. Would you put your initials there? OK. Question number two. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court. Do you understand that?
A: Yes.
Q: OK, would you ... you're writing yes, and would you put your initials. OK. You have the right to consult with an attorney before making any statements or answering any questions you have ... and you may have him present with you, or have him present ... present with you during questioning. Do you understand that?
A: Yes.
Q: Would you put your initials there? OK. If you cannot afford or otherwise obtain an attorney, you may, we may have one appointed by the court, you may have one appointed by the court. Do you understand that?

And have Sergeant Mike Kantner sign next to my name. OK Paul, again getting back to your statement uh this morning. We had asked you uh about any involvement you might have had in the Neulander murder. Is that correct?
A: Yes.
Q: And at that time you denied any knowledge, or any participation in that murder, correct?
A: Yes.
Q: OK. I understand now that you wish to change that statement, right?
A: Yes.
Q: And, and give us a statement, as to your participation, along with that of uh a male by the name of Len Jenoff?
A: Yes.
Q: In the murder of Carol Neulander which took place on November 1st, 1994, inside her residence at 204 Highgate Lane, Cherry Hill. Is that correct?
A: Yes.
Q: OK. All right, let's go back to uh, 1994 when you were first approached to do murder. Who approached you?
A: Len Jenoff.
Q: OK. And what did he actually say to you, and when was it said, and where were you when it was said?
A: I believe we were right there at our apartment, and he asked me if I wanted to make a few extra dollars by hurting somebody.
Q: OK, you were at your apartment. Where was your apartment?
A: Uh, Landmark in Cherry Hill.
Q: Landmark. Boarding home is it?
A: No, that was a regular apartment.
Q: All right Landmark Apartments in Cherry Hill?
A: Yes.
