I want
to commend the C-P on the coverage of the quest to bring the
USS New Jersey battleship to Camden.
It would be great to have this ship berthed
here. It's well-known it was built at the Philadelphia Naval
Shipyard. As for having access to lots of visitors, there are
Philadelphia and hundreds of towns in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Thousands of workers from these areas made parts and thousands
of skilled workers in every field of labor worked on this battleship.
I'd like to give special thanks for the efforts
of Joseph Dyer, South Jersey's representative on the battleship
commission. Thanks also to everyone involved in this pursuit
to bring the USS New Jersey home.
